Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Internal Sharia Consultancy Unit (“ISCU”) according to Higher Sharia Authority resolutions, ISSC’s Fatawa & resolutions and best practices in the Islamic banking industry.
  • Review and provide Shari’a consultations on the structures of all new activities, products and services (and related agreements) to management that are conducted or executed by the bank, in light of ISSC and I-ISA resolutions.
