What is Bhavana sammunnathi home scheme?
The Bhavana Samunnathi home scheme is being introduced by the Forward Development Social Welfare Corporation under the Government of Kerala. It is considered as a scheme for the period 2021-22. This amount can be used for the reconstruction of dilapidated houses and agraharas. Required applications are being accepted.
The house will be subsidized at the rate of Rs 2 lakh. This is a home scheme that can be used completely free of cost. In other words, a grant of up to Rs 2 lakh does not have to be repaid under the scheme.

People belonging to the priority AAY ration card category can avail this financial assistance scheme. Payment will be based on funds received from the State Government.
Applications can be submitted from Women with the lowest annual income, widows, and separated women. Those will be given the highest priority. A list of beneficiaries will then be prepared.
If more than one person with the same income submits an application, preference will be given to widows, single women, and those who remain unmarried.
If the money is not received for the construction of the house and the house is not completed within the stipulated period, 12 per cent of the amount, including compound interest, will have to be repaid. Such persons will not be able to apply later.
The last date for those who are eligible to submit applications is April 13, 2022. The applicant should belong to the Non-Reserved Section of Kerala.
The house to be renovated must be in the name of the applicant or family member. The name of the applicant must be on the ration card. The applicant must be a resident of the same home.
The annual income of the applicant should not exceed Rs. 4 lakhs. Documents to be submitted at the time of submission of documents include a copy of the first and second page of ration card, Aadhaar card, proof of caste, income certificate, proof of payment of house tax, copy of bank passbook of the applicant, and certificate of non-liability of the house.
