TVS Apache RTR 200 FI E100 | Ethanol : Chennai-based TVS Motor Company has launched its first motorcycle in the country, ethanol.
The Apache RTR 200 FIE 100 bike, which is a petrol-fueled blend of ethanol, is priced at Rs 1.20 lakh. This special edition of the TVS Apache RTR 200 FI was first shown at the last Auto Expo. The bike, which has just debuted, will be on sale only in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka, considering fuel availability.
TVS has chosen the green graphics for the Apache RTR 200 FIE100 bike to signify the eco-friendly. Ethanol’s emblem mixes with the graphics. TVS uses the Twin Spray TwinPort EFI technology on the bike to reduce environmental pollution and ensure better driveability and faster throttle response.
With the fuel ethanol, the Apache engine generates up to 21 PS at 8,500 rpm and 18.1 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. TVS offers the bike with a top speed of 129 km / h. TVS Motor Company Chairman Venu Srinivasan said the two-wheeler industry is looking for eco-friendly and sustainable travel opportunities for the future. Manufacturers are considering the possibilities of electric, hybrid and alternative fuel for this purpose.
TVS considers ethanol-based products to be of prime concern for consumers, he added. He further explained that the conversion to ethanol is easy and that it can achieve eco-friendly performance without compromising performance. He claimed that the Apache RTR 200 FI-100 was a revolutionary advancement for the two-wheeler industry.
