warning: we tested ourselves with a filter, which is really selective. It only works on very thin black plastic, which can already be seen in the right light. Think of things like TV remotes rather than the robust plastic of a high-quality DSLR. It strikes or loses clothing.
Now OnePlus plans update to fix it
OnePlus has promised to offer a solution in the OnePlus 8 Pro for its color filter lens. It was found that the lens can be seen through plastic and thin surfaces such as clothing.
Although the company was initially enthusiastic about such reports, it has now gone to Weibo to confirm the news, informing users of the decision to temporarily disable this new 5-megapixel color filter camera through a software update in the future. The company has apologized for this oversight and said the update to disable the lens would be released within a week.
