Laptop for 500 Rupees : Kudumbasree and KSFE start a laptop micro chitty for children to buy laptops for learning. You can get a laptop for less than Rs 15000. Parents of children who want their own laptops can join the chit.

KSFE’s chitty for Kudumbasree is paid at Rs. 15,000. 500 / – for 30 months. KSFE pays ten times in the next month, and next month.

Finance Minister Dr. Thomas Isaac said the project aims to provide two lakh laptops within three months. Neighborhood Learning Centers are opening online learning facilities for all children.

In addition, chitty is also used to buy laptops. Orders of various departments for laptop chit will be released soon. KSFE will pay for the laptop in the third month. The IT department will invite and designate laptop suppliers. It is given through Kudumbasree. Any excess money left over from the laptop will be refunded when the round is over. The specialty of the Kudumbasree unit is that it receives a commission of two per cent per month.
