Filament Free Kerala is a new project launched by KSEB to complete the concept of Filament Free Kerala. Let us see what are the features of this scheme of KSEB. The plan is to replace the old filament bulbs with new LED bulbs. Each household will receive 20 LED bulbs. But the amount does not have to be paid together. It will catch up with the monthly bills. This scheme will also enable you to return your old filament CFL bulbs to KSEB. Here’s how to apply online for such a project.

opening the KSEB website, open the account with the account holder’s login ID and password, otherwise click on New User at the bottom and go to the register page and enter the last five digits of the bill in bill number section. then give Consumer Number ,fill username and password. Enter the user details below it and enter the exact email ID and mobile number. Type in the captcha and click the register button.
Account can be activated using email id or phone number. If the email is sent to ID then click on the activate button and you will see that the register is successful. You can enter the page using that user ID and password. Here you can find KSEB related services and bill related information. Select Bill & Services LED requirement. Make a tick mark at the bottom next to the consumer number.
Here you can buy a maximum of 20 bulbs and choose from them. If the second option has older bulbs, select it and click the proceed button. You will now see a confirmation message. Make sure it is correct. Now you can see the message Request LED bulbs registered. The bulb will be available by April. You can then make payments through your next month bills.
