What is Ayushman Bharat PMJAY Medical Scheme?
AYUSHMAN BHARAT is a central government scheme that provides medical assistance of up to Rs 5 lakh for ecnomically backward families per one year. Most of the people misunderstood that Health card and PMJAY are same.But Health Card and AYUSHMAN BHARAT are entirely different things. Also, In health card you will not receive any treatments. AYUSHMAN BHARAT is a one-year treatment scheme for financially backward families annd provide 5 lakh Financial assistance. In a family each person who is a part of this scheme which gets medical treatment up to Rs. 5 lakhs and also who does not have to spend even a single rupee for any kind of treatment.

The benefit of the scheme includes for a person admitted for treatment the cost of treatment three days prior to admission to the hospital , the cost after admission to the hospital and the cost of 15 days as discharge from the hospital are provided from government.
According to the year 2011census report prepared , So only those with an annual income of less than Rs 3 lakh only part of this scheme. The benefit is based on the income given in the ration card and So in that list included persons with an annual income of less than Rs. 3 lakhs will be part of the scheme.
How to check am a member of AYUSHMAN BHARAT scheme?
According to the 2011 census details , no person can become a new member of the scheme. But currently present, there are 500 million people in the country involved ‘AYUSHMAN BHARAT. To check type Mera.pmjay. gov.in and find you are a member of the project. Once open the site select the state and other details Then type in your name in the Search by Name option. After filling all the information correctly and click on the search button. Then You will get a page with all the information like your HHD number name and all other details . If you are a member then see the name on the list if you are and what exactly are the benefits of being part of the plan details. How to check if the hospital is included in the AYUSHMAN BHARAT scheme?
select the Search by Hospital option, type in the state, district and specialty information and click on the search button. Then you have to get to a page with map called find hospital. Here you will get all the hospital information available at your location. You can also get hospitals within a distance of 10 km to 70 km in your location.The entire list of all hospitals may be given here.
